Day 11: Another Day, Another Dinosaur
I don’t know, man, I just don’t know.
My flux capacitor broke, and now I don’t know what I’m going to do. My pal George is, I hope, searching for me somewhen but I don’t know if he’ll be able to find me here, 75 million years in the past. I’ve been wandering, still, in the area that will one day be North America. I encountered this little fellow:
It’s a Styracosaurus, and it was TINY. These things are supposed to be really big, with huge bird-like beaks that they can rip through vegetation with.
I was frustrated and angry, so I decided I was going to step on it… and that’s exactly what I did. Stomp.
I just hope that doesn’t have any paradoxical consequences in 2024. I guess we’ll see.
Meanwhile, I just finished reading The Gods Below by my pal Andrea Stewart.
This was an amazing book! It’s rich in worldbuilding, the characters are all neatly developed, and it is, overall, just darn spectacular. Fully recommended.
Well done, Andrea!
