I decided I was going to start early on my 2025 Commitment project, so here is the first prompt from my first Story Engine draw:

A caretaker wants to hide an obsession with a famous mountain, but it will take them somewhere they never wanted to go

I’m starting early only because the New Year starts in the middle of the week, making the whole project awkward. Though I probably won’t start writing until later today.

Here’s a famous mountain: Mount Shasta in California.

I’ve seen Mount Shasta from the air plenty of times, of course, and actually been to it a couple. I’ve also taken a tour of the caves beneath it, and they were impressive. So. Mount Shasta.

Anyway, I’m not positive where I’m going to go with this, but I think it’s a contemporary fantasy story. We shall see, won’t we?
