Since I finished “Christmas in Telos” yesterday, I drew some new cards from the Story Engine today to generate a new prompt. And here it is:

A tormented roommate wants to protect a script, but they will have to learn something difficult.

It sounds vaguely Lovecraftian, I think, or maybe more like something out of Robert W. Chambers’s The Yellow Sign, so I may have to go in that direction. Lost Carcossa, Hastur, the King in Yellow, that sort of thing. The image above is the infamous Yellow Sign which, if inscribed, will summon Hastur, the King in Yellow. Surely, though, just transmitting it via pixels won’t do anything harmful. Right? Right?
